I applied to CSF my sophomore year. CSF recognizes California students with high standards in academics. CSF has served as a motivating factor to obtain 4’s in all my classes to graduate with honors.
|
My senior year I applied and was accepted to NSHS. It has helped me continue being involved with fundraisers and has also served as a motivating factor to attain good grades to be able to graduate with Spanish honors.

Advancement Via Individual DeterminationTowards the end of my 8th grade year I decided to apply for AVID. Since my freshman year I have learned so much, Mr. Cheatwood has always encouraged us to get out of our comfort zones and challenge ourselves. I am very grateful for AVID and Mr. Cheatwood.

LUSD Board RepresentativeI have been the Lindsay Unified School District Representative my junior and senior year. Being the Board Rep. has made me much more aware and engaged with events taking place throughout the schools in the district. It has also given me the opportunity to share events I find very intriguing and worthwhile with trustees and superintendent Mr. Rooney.

LHS Varsity DanceI tried out for the 2018-2019 varsity dance team. It was the first ever dance team at Lindsay high school and our team accomplished so much. We placed 2nd at multiple competition, one being the CSF championships.
I had a lot of fun dancing with a group of wonderful people that became like my family and it helped me with managing my stress as well as my confidence. |
I tried out for volleyball my freshman and sophomore year of high school. My first year I started off in the frosh team and it helped me develop leadership skills as well as team working skills. It was a year of growth as a person and as a volleyball player.
My sophomore year, I made the JV team, it made me happy to see that my practice had payed off knowing that I was the only girl in the frosh team that was moved up to JV. I learned to push myself to my limits, to always try my best and never get discouraged. That year I was recognized as the most improved player. |
